Fun Family Getaway in the Mountains
MurphyOur Happy Hytte (pronounced hit-uh, meaning cabin in Norwegian) is a family and dog friendly cabin in Murphy, NC. We are 20 minutes from the Cherokee National Forest, 30 minutes from the Nantahala, & right around the corner from Blairsville and Blue Ridge. We are kid approved, with a hot tub and a gated deck to keep your little ones and fur babies close by. With our front porch view of the community pond, hand made Adirondack chairs, and thoughtful amenities, we invite you to come to the mountains and relax.

House Rules
A few house rules
1.Please treat our home as though it were your own. Let us know if anything is damaged.
2.No parties or events.
3.No smoking inside.
4.Dog welcoming with no fees or size restrictions.
5.No unregistered guests please.
6.Please don't eat or drink in the bedrooms.
7.Please keep the noise down after 10pm.
8.Please keep track of the key. A lost key charge of 50.00 will apply if it goes missing.
9.Do your dishes and remove your trash. The cleaning crew will do the rest.
10.If your pooch is nervous when alone, please utilize the crate we have provided.
11.Take care to put out your fire completely.
12.Our HOA does not allow hunting on the property, so please don't shoot at any of the critters while there.
13.Please pick up your fur baby's business.
14.The fireplace is available from October-April
